    By way of apology to those who prefer compact discs, we have a few dozen of the CDR promotional edition available. While not quite up to Radio Khartoum's usual CD packaging standards (jewel case alert!), it does include an illustrated 16-page booklet with lyrics, song notes by Matt Jones and a sleeve note by Frank Discussions. In fact, it includes several illustrations that the vinyl doesn't, including that damned, obligatory cat and catalogue thing that has dogged our last four Bügelfrei-designed releases.

As the work of Gwyn Thomas bears witness, it is the way of Welsh writers to combine satirical humour with realism, sarcasm with cinema verité. It is also our way to love Wales so much we have to go and live somewhere else then spend the weekends whingeing about hiraeth for the old hometown. The Hepburns never moved to London, or Cardiff, or even nearby Swansea, fearing none of these places would suit our ‘sarcasm and cinema verité’ approach the way Llanelli does, although it must be said Port Talbot looks promising. Little London is a housing estate in Felinfoel, Llanelli, and now it’s a song about ‘victims of the class war’, too. Hurrah.
